But they are nocturnal, which is pretty cool. They eat rodents, small birds, insects like termites, and dung beetles........Wait is that normal? Well for them it must be. They are gray on the top half and creamy colored on the bottom half. And have a cute short muzzle. Photo credit: www.arkive.org Information for post found on wikipedia.com

Cute Desert Foxes

Image
Cute little ears are poking out everywhere! And look, they're the desert foxes! The desert fox is the only fox in Utah that dwells in the desert. with it's cute fuzzy ears and desert features it has many talents for survival. One of these many talents is hidden under their cute fuzzy ears. their ears are powerful and important for survival. They will help the desert fox dissipate body heat through evaporative cooling. And one of the best parts are that they are nocturnal (which means they are awake at night.) "Cool right"! So during the day they are snoring away the heat and at night they will come out because it is much cooler. Info found on: www.wildaboututah.org Photo credit:  www.mnn.com

Little Gray Foxes

Image
You may not see them but they are there! The Gray foxes are here!    The little gray foxes are pretty small, the full grown male is about 15 inches hight, well the female is 12 inches hight. Which is pretty small I think. The gray foxes tale is not as puffy as the others but has a cute black tip at the end. They are strong and feisty, including that they where made for running really fast for long periods of time. yet still not faster then a cheetah..........yet. Who knows they could be! The gray fox's best friend is probably a tree. They are the only foxes that can climb them, they can find food from them, they provide shelter , they can sleep in them, and can probably use it as a free bathroom too. And that is all about our gray foxes. Photo credit:  danielbernaphoto.blogspot.com
